Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brick Tires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto) as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Simon Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brick Tires!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Williams!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tires throws a poor cross that misses
and Williams counters with an inside leg kick.
Williams has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tires is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Tires is looking to land body kicks.
Williams throws a big shot that misses.
Williams swings for the body but Tires moves out of range.
Tires ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tires.
Williams misses with a shot to the body
and Tires counters with a nice body shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tires.
Tires throws a shot to the body.
Tires lands a right hook to the body.
Tires misses with a body kick.
Tires ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tires scores with a shot to the body.
Tires gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams misses with an uppercut.
Tires connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Williams's hands.


It looks like Simon Williams has been cut.
Williams tries to work over Tires's front leg with a kick but Tires checks it.
Tires avoids the body shot from Williams.

Williams throws the kick towards the body but Tires avoids it.
An inside leg kick lands from Williams.
Tires swings away with a body shot that misses
and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Williams walks into a straight right hand from Tires.
Williams throws a leg kick but Tires sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tires throws a leg kick which misses Williams's front leg but catches the back leg as Williams tries to avoid it.
Tires is looking to wear down Williams with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Tires misses with a wild body shot.
Williams sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Tires misses with a body kick.
Tires works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tires takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses.
Tires feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Williams's calf.
Williams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tires checks it well.
Williams moves out of range of the body kick from Tires.
Tires darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tires throws a body kick that misses.
Williams throws a sloppy body shot
and Tires makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Williams misses with a hook. Tires ducked under it nicely.
Tires throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tires has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Humboldt Park Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Tires misses with a hook.
A nice side step and Williams releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tires's corner calls for a 1-2. Tires obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Williams throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tires throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range.
Williams feints and then cracks Tires's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tires down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tires. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.
Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Williams walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tires.
Williams drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Williams throws a front kick aimed at Tires's knee but Tires avoids it well.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tires.
Williams throws a lazy uppercut
and Tires counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tires looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
Williams throws a leg kick that misses.
Tires throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tires cracks Williams with an open hand slap.
Tires chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tires throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Williams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tires is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Tires misses the target.
Williams tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Williams just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Tires was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Williams.
Tires rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams lands a head shot.


It looks like Brick Tires has been cut.
Tires thuds his shin into the meat of Williams's side.
Williams looks winded!
Tires lands a really nice looking cross but Williams seems unphased.
Williams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Williams gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williams lands a lovely overhand right.
Jab from Tires.
Tires lets loose with a powerful body kick. Williams will feel that in the morning.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tires cracks Williams with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tires has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Williams to stand back up!


Williams is rocked!
Williams throws a front kick aimed at Tires's knee but Tires avoids it well.
Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Tires finish him?
Tires shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Williams takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Tires sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Williams bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brick Tires!
Brick Tires seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
