Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clint Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Volkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Volkers!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Volkers's waist but Volkers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Young off to one side.
Volkers is trying to counter with his kicks.
Volkers throws a nice outside leg kick.
Volkers has taken the fight to the clinch.
Volkers throws an elbow that misses.
Volkers pushes Young back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Clint Young has been cut.
Young successfully pulls guard.
Volkers pushes down on Young's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Volkers wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkers wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Young uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Young has a closed guard, preventing Volkers from standing up.
Volkers decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Volkers has closed the distance and engaged Young in a clinch.
Young has Volkers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Young pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Volkers tumbling to the mat - Young dives into Volkers's guard.
Young is looking to work some ground and pound but Volkers has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Volkers uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Volkers wants to clinch.
Volkers moves into the clinch successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Volkers lands an elbow just above Young 's eye.
Volkers lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Young tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Volkers smiles and moves away.
Volkers closes the distance and pushes Young back into the cage.
Volkers scores with a shoulder strike.
Young is rocked!
Volkers lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Oh Young is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Volkers pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Young! Volkers unloads with more strikes and Young sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Volkers!
A very excited looking Ben Volkers made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
