Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Oswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Yikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oswald comes to the cage accompanied by Lou Reed - The day John Kennedy Died. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oswald is looking to clinch.
Oswald lands with a hook. Yikes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Oswald missing with a left hand there. Yikes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Yikes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oswald.

Oswald sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Yikes to the ground! Oswald dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Kyle Yikes has been cut.

Yikes is desperately trying to improve his position but Oswald has a good base and remains in mount.

Yikes wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Oswald.
You get the feeling that Yikes really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Oswald has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oswald swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Yikes is now in Oswald's guard. A big mistake from Oswald there, giving up the dominant position!

Yikes postures up in Oswald's guard and throws a big left but Oswald blocks it.

Yikes gets to his feet - Oswald follows without any prompting.
A lazy left from Oswald finds it's target.
Oswald has his takedown stuffed
and Oswald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Oswald wants to clinch up but Yikes keeps it at a distance.
Yikes throws a looping overhand right but Oswald ducks down to avoid it.

Oswald has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oswald misses with a hook from the clinch.
Oswald misses with a knee strike.
Oswald keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Yikes's efforts to push away.

Yikes manages to break the clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Oswald!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Oswald throws a hook to the side of Yikes's head but Yikes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Yikes's corner calls for a 1-2. Yikes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Oswald throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yikes on the side of the head.
Yikes just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee Oswald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yikes drops Oswald with a nice combination! Yikes dives into Oswald's guard, looking to finish!

Oswald is rocked!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Yikes is working Oswald over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Oswald is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oswald wants to get back to his feet but Yikes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Oswald will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Yikes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Oswald seems to have got his legs back now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Oswald is on top in guard.

Yikes wants to stand up but Oswald is controlling him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oswald accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Yikes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oswald is controlling him.

Oswald drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yikes dives on top into guard.

Oswald wants to control the position but Yikes says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Oswald throws a jab but it's blocked by Yikes.
Yikes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Oswald is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Oswald lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yikes misses with an uppercut. Oswald saw that one coming.

Yikes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It seemed like Yikes was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Yikes connects with a good right hand that stumbles Oswald. Oswald circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Yikes closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oswald doesn't manage to clinch there - Yikes circles away.
Oswald is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Yikes just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Oswald has gone limp and this one is over!
