Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiego Moagi Okeke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sven Fenson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fenson moves out of range as Okeke throws a body kick.
Fenson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Sven Fenson has been cut.
Fenson darts in and clinches Okeke up against the cage.
Fenson tries to land knees in the clinch but Okeke avoids the damage to the body.
Okeke tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fenson's elbow.
Okeke lands an uppercut.
Okeke misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Fenson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Okeke throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fenson shoots in but Okeke avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Okeke quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Okeke tries to keep at a distance but Fenson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Okeke misses with a hook from the clinch.
Fenson breaks the clinch.
Fenson wants to clinch
and Okeke counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fenson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fenson controls the position.
Okeke is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Fenson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Fenson scoring with strikes but Okeke is staying in there.
Okeke reaches up to try and control the position but Fenson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Okeke rolls and tries to escape and now Fenson has his back!
Fenson controlling the position well here. Okeke rolled but Fenson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Fenson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Okeke fending off the submission attempt from Fenson.
Okeke is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fenson has managed to slip his arm under Okeke's chin. This could be all over... yep, Okeke is tapping out! Submission win for Fenson.
