Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arzlan Bathory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Rearden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bathory comes to the cage accompanied by Brain Scan. Rearden has chosen Irigy Hónaljmirigy - Rúgj Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris parody by Hungarians) as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bathory avoids the body shot from Rearden.
Rearden has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rearden has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bathory finds it's way round the side to connect with Rearden's head.
Bathory fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rearden checks it well.
Rearden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bathory tries to work over Rearden's front leg with a kick but Rearden checks it.

Rearden throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bathory sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bathory looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Bathory throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rearden tries to clinch but Bathory moves out of range.
Rearden shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bathory but Bathory pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rearden shoots for a double leg takedown but Bathory sprawls well. He's pushed Rearden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rearden takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Rearden tries to free his leg and advance position but Bathory is retaining full guard.

Rearden is fighting to break Bathory's control of his arms but Bathory is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Bathory's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bathory has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bathory tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rearden was well out of range. Poor timing from Bathory.
Rearden lands a really nice looking cross but Bathory seems unphased.

Rearden throws a hook to the side of Bathory's head but Bathory sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rearden shoots in looking for a takedown. Bathory tries to sprawl out of it but Rearden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bathory manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bathory leaves Rearden with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rearden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bathory sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rearden somewhat.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Henry Rearden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
