The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Emelanienko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King flicks out a counter leg kick but Emelanienko steps away.
Emelanienko shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Emelanienko closes this distance looking for a takedown but King circles away.
Emelanienko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Emelanienko.
Emelanienko shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
