The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Johnson lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Denver Pierce has been cut.
Pierce shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Johnson thuds a left hand into Pierce's body.
Pierce walks straight into a right hand from Johnson - that's dropped him! Johnson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pierce from any more punishment! Pierce complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rumble Johnson!
Rumble Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
