Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keni Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by The Town by Macklemore. Susi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica - Hero of the Day kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Susi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Susi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Johnson misses with a body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Susi! But no joy.
Johnson throws a body punch but Susi moves out of range.

Susi shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Susi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Susi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Susi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Susi, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Susi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Susi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Susi won't let him.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Susi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Susi's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Susi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

Susi goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Johnson escapes and is now in half guard on top.

That was a close round but I would say that Jordan Johnson will probably get the nod.

Susi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Susi lands in his opponent's guard.

Susi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Johnson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Johnson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johnson!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Johnson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Susi sprawling to the canvas! Susi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!

Crack! Johnson connects with the perfect overhand right and Susi falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Johnson!
