Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Tournament (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Tournament!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow scoring well with a low kick there.
Tournament goes for a double leg but Snow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Snow continues to drive forward.
Snow goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nice sprawl there from Snow as Tournament shoots in.
Tournament tries to close the distance and clinch but Snow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Snow throws a one two combo.

Snow fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tournament sprawls well initially but Snow persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tournament is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back!
Snow just trying to survive but Tournament is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Tournament is trying to stick to Snow's back but Snow is turning into Tournament. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tournament's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Snow.

Snow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tournament has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snow has managed to get both his arms back between Tournament's legs - danger averted.

Tournament is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Snow is aware though and is defending well.
Tournament is trying to keep Snow in close.
Snow is looking to stand up but Tournament won't let him.
Tournament wants to stand and escape but Snow is having none of it.

Tournament trying to control the position.
Snow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tournament swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Snow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tournament looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Snow puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tournament enables Snow to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tournament manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are battling for position here. Tournament manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Snow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Nice takedown defense from Snow. No joy for Tournament on that attempt.

Tournament shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Snow napping and manages to drive through into side control!
