Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frodo Baggins!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Baggins slams his shin into Coleman's torso.
Baggins attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Coleman is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Baggins.
Baggins fails to land with a series of punches.
Frodo Baggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coleman misses with the combination.
Baggins goes for a double leg but Coleman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Coleman continues to drive forward.
It looked like Coleman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Baggins.
Baggins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Baggins is pushing Coleman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Baggins tries to pull guard but Coleman forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Baggins wants to get back to striking at distance but Coleman won't allow it.

We've been informed that Baggins has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Baggins misses with a short punch on the inside.
Baggins is trying to break free.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Baggins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Baggins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Baggins pulls Coleman in close to his closed guard and prevents Coleman from doing any damage or advancing position.

Baggins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Coleman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Baggins is pulling down on Coleman's head. It's preventing any offense from Coleman, at least for the moment.

Baggins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coleman's waist but Coleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baggins off to one side.
