Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benny Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Askren comes to the cage accompanied by red light special TLC. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Askren has taken the fight to the clinch.

Askren prevents Cross from breaking the clinch.
Askren throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Cross throws a head punch that misses.
Cross blocks an elbow strike.

Cross digs a right hand underneath Askren's ribcage. Askren let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Cross's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cross's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cross takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Askren pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

The cut above Magnus Cross's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Cross is trying to push Askren away but Askren has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Askren lands an elbow inside that Cross shrugs off.
Magnus Cross's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Magnus Cross's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Benny Askren!
As Benny Askren got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Waste of time fighting this joke BLEED bitch BLEED ,ill fight anyone anytime watch this space bozos'.
Magnus Cross spoke after the fight, saying 'Its good fun sparring with these old guys,(they fight hard) but its always hard to get serious and smash them to a pulp when they wear hearing aids and pads in their tights.'.
