Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicolosi tries to clinch but Lang moves out of range.
Lang throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Lang blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nicolosi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lang backwards.
Nicolosi throws an elbow that misses.
Lang avoids a wild elbow strike from Nicolosi.
Nicolosi can't find room to land a body shot as Lang controls the action.

Lang tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nicolosi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Nicolosi drops Lang onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lang is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Nicolosi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Nicolosi tries to land knees in the clinch but Lang avoids the damage to the body.
Lang misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nicolosi misses with an elbow over the top.
Lang swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nicolosi keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lang's efforts to push away.

Nicolosi creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Lang! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Nicolosi.
