The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright shoots in looking for a takedown. Hogan tries to sprawl out of it but Bright keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hogan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hogan lands a nice shot to the body.
Hogan pulls out of a head kick attempt.

It looks like Rupert Bright has been cut.
Hogan throws a series of punches but Bright moves out of range.
Alex Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bright shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hogan as he jumps to the side.
Alex Hogan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hogan lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bright can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hogan and Bright drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hogan.
