The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray dives in for a single leg takedown but Morais sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Murray darts in looking for a takedown but Morais gets double underhooks and turns Murray into the cage.
Morais jabs Murray to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Morais throws a right hand that Murray ducks under and follows up with a left that Murray also avoids with ease.
Morais lands a nice looking body shot.
Murray shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morais as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Earnest Murray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Murray dodges the punch combination from Morais.
Morais looks to land a combination but Murray avoids it well.
Nice shot lands for Morais.

It looks like Earnest Murray has been cut.
Morais throws a series of punches but Murray moves out of range.
Murray tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Morais manages to circle out of the way.
Morais misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mutant Morais seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morais throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Murray stumbling backwards into the cage! Murray bounces back off the cage towards Morais, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Morais lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Morais celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
