Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmitt Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Dove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Dove has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dove scores with a nice strike.

It looks like Emmitt Dixon has been cut.
Dove misses the shot to the body.
Dove tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dixon was well out of range. Poor timing from Dove.
Dove moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dove throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Dixon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dixon controlling the pace.
Dixon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dove for as long as he can get away with.
Dixon drops an elbow to the side of Dove's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dixon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dove scores with a nice strike.
Sloppy strikes from Dove. Those never looked like landing.

No joy there for Dove, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dove works Dixon's body with a nice hook.
Dove scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Dixon is trying to pull guard but Dove has him pressed against the cage.
Dixon really is a fat lump.
Dove goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dove lands with a light punch inside.
Dove lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Dove avoids the elbow strike from Dixon, against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Dixon managing to block the knees to the body from Dove.
Dixon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dove lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dixon backwards.
Dove blocks an elbow strike.
Dove lands a knee to the head.

Oh Dixon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dove pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dove lands with a shot to the body.
Dove is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dixon is breathing heavily.
Good leg kick by Dove there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dove grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Dixon takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Dove cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
