Simmons lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lesnar backs up against the cage.

It looks like Brock Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lesnar throws a body shot but no joy.
The fighters circling - Simmons throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lesnar attempts a counter takedown but Simmons avoids it well and moves away.
Simmons misses with a combination
and Lesnar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like John Simmons has been cut.
Lesnar throws a right and a left that Simmons avoids nicely.
Simmons let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Nice combo by Lesnar ! Oh, that's hurt him - Simmons falls to the canvas and Lesnar follows him into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Simmons wants to control but Lesnar postures up.
Lesnar lands a strong strike to the head of Simmons. That's dazed him! Lesnar looking to finish here. Simmons is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Lesnar lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Brock Lesnar really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bad Man Clothing (Nothing Over $40) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
