Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Saint is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aldo Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Saint!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint stuffs the takedown.
Randall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Randall shoots in but no luck this time.
Saint falls off balance throwing a combination

and Randall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Randall.
Saint wants to control but Randall passes easily into half guard.
Saint avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Randall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Saint doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Randall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saint wants to improve his position but Randall is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Randall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Saint has managed to free his arm - good work.
Saint is trying to stand up here but Randall is controlling him well.
Saint is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Randall thows a huge punch but Saint dodges it nicely.
Randall stops Saint from getting back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Randall drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saint is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Randall is controlling him.
Saint is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Randall prevents Saint from getting back to his feet.
Randall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
We've been informed that Saint has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Randall working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Saint is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Randall presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Randall has Saint pressed against the cage.
Saint wants to break free but Randall has control.
A frustrated look appears on Saint's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Saint tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Randall is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Saint to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aldo Randall. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Randall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Saint forces Randall back against the cage and clinches.
Saint tries to circle away but Randall has him pinned against the cage.
Randall really is a fat lump.

Randall decides to pull guard.
Saint slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Randall keeping moving, preventing Saint from controlling successfully.
Randall is striking but Saint is not phased and passes to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Saint is keen to just control but Randall is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aldo Randall dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Saint lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Aldo Randall has been cut.
Randall takes one to the side of the head.
Saint scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Randall doesn't seem bothered though.

Saint forces Randall back against the cage and clinches.
A short uppercut from Saint.
Saint jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Randall walks away with a smile on his face. Saint gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Saint misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jab by Saint.
Saint pounces like a tiger and cracks Randall with a vicious hook! Randall is down but not out! Saint follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Johnny Saint!
