Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cesar Morrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Goro Majima!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majima throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Morrow counters with a head kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Majima.
Morrow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Morrow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Majima appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Morrow closes the distance and clinches up with Majima, looking for a takedown. Morrow pushes Majima against the cage but Majima circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morrow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Majima counters with a flying knee that drops Morrow! Majima dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Goro Majima!
