Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benny Hill is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benny Hill!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hill.
Hill defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Storm.
Storm has his takedown stuffed

and Hill moves into the clinch.

Storm is trying to trip Hill. He has hold of a leg but Hill is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Storm persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Hill looking to control.
Storm wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.
Storm wants to pass the guard but Hill is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hill holds on and takes a little breather.

Hill is working an open guard so Storm takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
No joy there for Storm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Storm fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hill avoids it really well and circles away.

Storm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Storm closes the distance and clinches up with Hill, looking for a takedown. Storm pushes Hill against the cage but Hill circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hill is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Storm gets tackled into the cage by Hill. Hill maintains the clinch.
Hill has Storm pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Storm manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

It looks like Benny Hill has been cut.

Hill has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Storm clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hill is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hill gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hill gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hill apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hill misses with a takedown attempt - Storm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Storm fails to land the takedown.

Storm tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hill manages to circle out of the way.

so Hill counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Storm avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Storm has his foot on Hill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hill works his way back into a safe position though.

Storm controls Hill momentarily but Hill frees himself.
Hill is looking to work some ground and pound but Storm has wrist control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Storm is on top in guard.

Storm advances to half guard.
Hill trying to get back to full guard but Storm takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Hill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Storm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hill tries to reverse the position but Storm maintains control.

Storm content just to control the position here.
Hill is trying to stand up.
Storm controlling from the full mount.
Storm pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Storm thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hill is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hill squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Storm looking to control but Hill is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Hill is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Storm will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hill closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Storm's guard.

Storm manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hill manages to get himself to full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hill can do anything to dispel that myth.

Storm goes for a double leg but Hill avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hill continues to drive forward.

Hill drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Storm defends it well.

Hill has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Storm is working away from the top position though.

Storm sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Hill is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hill is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Storm throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Storm is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hill can do to turn this around?

Hill loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Storm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hill has managed to get both his arms back between Storm's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Storm delivers a nice body kick.
Hill fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Storm darts in looking for a takedown but Hill gets double underhooks and turns Storm into the cage.
Storm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Storm wants it to stay on the feet.

Hill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hill shoots for a takedown but Storm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hill misses with a takedown attempt - Storm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Storm goes for a takedown attempt but Hill pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brandon Storm is winning the standup battle so far.
A solid leg kick lands there for Storm.
Storm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hill as he jumps to the side.

Storm appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Hill throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Storm was covering up waiting for the punch and Hill finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Storm is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Storm not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Benny Hill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Brandon Storm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

I would just about give that final round to Benny Hill.
