Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blue has chosen Be Survivor as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Red Blue!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue tries to clinch but Park moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Park as Blue shoots in.
Park wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Blue tries to break the clinch but Park is controlling the position.

Park tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blue just stands there and leans against the cage.

Blue jumps guard but Park stands there with Blue around his waist. Blue gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Blue darts in looking for a takedown but Park gets double underhooks and turns Blue into the cage.

Park leaves Blue with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Blue has his takedown stuffed

Park jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blue walks away with a smile on his face. Park gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Blue closes the distance and clinches up with Park, looking for a takedown. Blue pushes Park against the cage but Park circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Blue dives in and grabs Park's left leg, looking for a takedown. Park pushes down on Blue's head and hops out.
Park seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Red Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blue throws a head kick but Park moves out of range.
Park is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Blue.

Park gets control of Blue's arms and successfully pulls guard. Park will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Park is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well Park has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
