Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cody Lundin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stampe Eklund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eklund has chosen Troll - Trollberg as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Eklund's head backwards.

Eklund stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Eklund wants it to stay on the feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Eklund stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lundin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eklund drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lundin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Eklund has Lundin in his guard.

Eklund is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lundin has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Eklund in particular looking to stall.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cody Lundin will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cody Lundin.
