Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Zharkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Touma Saibara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saibara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Saibara counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zharkov tries to get to full guard but Saibara has control of the leg.
Saibara landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Saibara throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Zharkov to regain full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zharkov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saibara connects with a nice short shot to Zharkov's temple.
Saibara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zharkov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Oh Zharkov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saibara works his way into side control.
Saibara lands a strong strike to the head of Zharkov. That's dazed him! Saibara looking to finish here. Zharkov is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Saibara lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
