Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Random Hajile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Random Hajile!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison loads up on a big right hand but Hajile slips the punch.
Jamison misses with a wild body shot.
Jamison lands with an overhand left.

Hajile closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jamison to the mat! Jamison manages to get full guard.
Hajile scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hajile throws an elbow that misses. Jamison uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hajile's guard. Nice move by Jamison!

Jamison stays in close to Hajile's body and controls the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hajile is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jamison is staying active.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jamison is not going to allow Hajile to sit and survive in this position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jamison controlling the position well here. Hajile rolled but Jamison kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hajile shoots in but no luck this time.
Hajile shoots for a double leg takedown but Jamison sprawls well. He's pushed Hajile's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Carl Jamison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Random Hajile.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jamison controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Hajile takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jamison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jamison wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice defenses there by Hajile.

Hajile goes for a double leg but Jamison avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jamison continues to drive forward.
Random Hajile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hajile closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jamison on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jamison tries to get out of the position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hajile is defended easily by Jamison.
Carl Jamison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Random Hajile.
Hajile shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jamison sprawls well. Jamison wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hajile gets slowly back to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jamison is on top in guard.

Jamison is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

You can see the frustration on Hajile's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hajile tries to lock up and control but Jamison gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jamison tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hajile tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hajile is trying to reverse the position but instead Jamison has taken his back - oops!

And that's the end of the fight!
Carl Jamison showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jamison has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
