Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derk Cult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Derk Cult!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cult connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Jon Snow has been cut.
Snow tries to clinch but Cult moves out of range.

Snow drives through with a takedown into Cult's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Cult definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cult is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cult wants to stand and escape but Snow is having none of it.

Cult had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Snow defends it easily.
Snow tries to free his leg and advance position but Cult is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow trying to control but Cult is working from the bottom.
Cult is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cult misses with a double jab.
Snow replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Cult blocks it well.
Cult slaps away a takedown attempt from Snow, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Cult lands a left and a right that send Snow crashing to the mat, dazed. Cult thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cult fails to land with a series of punches.
Cult throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Cult misses the target.
Cult throws a right hand that Snow ducks under and follows up with a left that Snow also avoids with ease.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cult.

Cult shoots in but no luck this time.
Despite the aggression on Snow's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Cult fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Snow appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derk Cult. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snow lands with a slapping head kick.
Snow scores with a head kick. Cult tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Cult gets caught flat footed, as Snow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cult is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cult controls Snow momentarily but Snow frees himself.
Cult knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snow on the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cult is on top in guard.

Cult is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Snow wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Cult makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cult engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Snow is trying to control the position but Cult postures up.
Cult lands a couple of digs.
Cult is looking to work some ground and pound but Snow has wrist control.
Cult trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Snow doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's time! Cult's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Snow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cult lands a nice hook to Snow's body. Snow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Derk Cult is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snow shoots and misses

Snow is rocked!
A head kick from Snow lands but Cult takes it in his stride.
Snow is still on wobbly legs! Can Cult finish him?

Snow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Snow seems to have recovered his senses.
Cult wants to get back to his feet.
Cult tries to get to full guard but Snow has control of the leg.
Snow is keen to just control but Cult is a slippery customer.
Cult tries to roll over but Snow keeps him under control.

Snow working over Cult with some ground and pound. Cult looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Cult is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cult drops Snow with a beautiful combination! Snow stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cult is looking for the KO!

Jon Snow's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jon Snow's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
