Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Holohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grey Worm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holohan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Come out and Fight. Worm comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Der Kaptain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holohan misses with a straight left.
Holohan throws out a powerful jab.
Worm connects with a crisp jab.

Holohan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holohan wants to pass the guard but Worm is defending well.

Holohan seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Worm has recovered full guard.
Worm is pulling down on Holohan's head. It's preventing any offense from Holohan, at least for the moment.
Holohan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Worm drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Worm jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've been hearing good reports from Holohan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
