The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trejo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Trejo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ignotus avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Trejo.
Ignotus parries the strikes from Trejo easily there. Trejo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ignotus to escape.
Ignotus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trejo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ignotus prevents Trejo from moving into mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trejo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ignotus has escaped the position, nice work there.
Trejo throws a strike aimed at the side of Ignotus's head but Ignotus avoids it well.

Trejo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ignotus prevents Trejo from moving into mount.
Trejo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ignotus is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trejo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ignotus looks calm but he's in trouble here. Trejo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ignotus is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Trejo lets go of the hold and Ignotus can pop his arm back in it's socket.
