Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emory Majors!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Sulphur!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Sulphur misses.
Sulphur fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Majors went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Majors manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sulphur on his heels. He'll look to pass Sulphur's guard now, I'm sure.
Majors stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sulphur swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Majors trying to control the position from guard on top but Sulphur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Majors distracts Sulphur with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sulphur avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Majors accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Majors with a nice head shot there.

Majors throws an elbow that misses. Sulphur uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Majors's guard. Nice move by Sulphur!

Majors pulls Sulphur in close to prevent any damage.
Majors wants to improve his position but instead Sulphur has moved into half guard.
Majors is refusing to be controlled, as Sulphur sits in half guard.
Sulphur passes to side control.

Majors tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Majors has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sulphur has control of an arm but Majors manages to advance to Sulphur's back!

Majors is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Sulphur up.
Majors is trying to stick to Sulphur's back but Sulphur is turning into Majors. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Majors's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sulphur.
Majors wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Sulphur is now in half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Majors is on top in guard.

Sulphur is rocked!
Majors is pushing down on Sulphur's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sulphur is fighting to maintain full guard but Majors has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sulphur is still in real trouble! Can Majors finish him?
Majors scores with a big shot! Sulphur's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Sulphur! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
