Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fett comes to the cage accompanied by Till I collapse. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 9 - 3, fighting out of New York, Jango Fett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Riggs!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett misses with a hook
and Riggs counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fett thinking.
Riggs throws a jab but it's blocked by Fett.
Fett turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fett looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Riggs slips under a jab from Fett.
Riggs throws a low kick but Fett avoids it.

Riggs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fett postures up in Riggs's guard and throws a big left but Riggs blocks it.

Fett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Riggs is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Riggs is not content to let Fett control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fett working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That was a close round but I would say that Jango Fett will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Riggs misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fett.
Fett shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Riggs manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fett has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Riggs is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fett.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fett manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Fett avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Riggs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Riggs is trying to control. Fett wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Riggs lands a nice short elbow.

Riggs might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fett haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Riggs throws out a counter right but Fett avoids it with no problem.

Fett in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Fett is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Riggs can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
