Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Deegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deegan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Land of Confusion. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suri stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Deegan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Suri is looking to counter punch.
Suri throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A low kick from Deegan is predictable there
and Suri cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Deegan is looking to clinch.
Deegan shoots for a takedown but Suri saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Deegan tries to close the distance and clinch but Suri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Deegan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Deegan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Suri is defending well for now.

Deegan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Suri avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
