The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stonedberg misses with a head kick.
Esposito lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Esposito on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

and Esposito counters with an inside leg kick.
No joy there for Esposito, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stonedberg lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Stonedberg ducks under a wild hook from Esposito.
Esposito swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Esposito walks forward, straight into a front kick from Stonedberg.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stonedberg darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stonedberg has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Esposito scores with a leg kick.
Esposito bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stonedberg's head backwards.

It looks like Frank Esposito has been cut.
Esposito throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Esposito crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stonedberg - the referee stops the clock and Esposito gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stonedberg. Esposito manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stonedberg. Esposito shrugs it off though.
