Mandelev kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rage. Toushikama is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by One Love-Yoshihiro Akiyama. The key to victory for Shawn Mandelev has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Toushikama doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mandelev counters with a nice body shot.

Toushikama closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mandelev circles away.
An attempted straight right counter from Mandelev misses the target.

It looks like Akira Toushikama has been cut.

Toushikama darts in looking for a takedown but Mandelev gets double underhooks and turns Toushikama into the cage.

and Mandelev makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Toushikama walks into a straight right hand from Mandelev.

Mandelev steps in with a hook that catches Toushikama right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mandelev follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Toushikama looks absolutely devastated.

Shawn Mandelev decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
