Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Octavius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heisenberg White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Crystal Blue Persuasion as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Heisenberg White!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with a shot to the body.
Jab by White.
Octavius throws a low kick but White moves out of range easily.
Octavius misses with a leg kick
and White counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Julius Octavius has been cut.
Octavius throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
White tries to bum rush Octavius with a series of wild strikes but Octavius uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
White throws a series of punches but Octavius moves out of range.
Octavius takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
White checks a leg kick.
White smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Octavius fires out a quick counter leg kick but White just manages to avoid it.

White sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and White counters with a lovely shot to the body.
White looks to throw the jab but Octavius is out of range.
Octavius looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Octavius ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

White looks like he wants to counter punch here.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
White jabs Octavius to the body, keeping him at a distance.
White connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Octavius's hands.

Octavius throws a low kick but White avoids it.
White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Octavius is rocked!
Octavius pivots, looking for a leg kick but White is out of range and Octavius settles back down.
Oh Octavius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
White misses with a low kick.
Octavius seems to have got his legs back now.
A solid leg kick lands there for Octavius.
A slow jab from White misses its intended target.
Octavius tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Octavius somewhat.

Octavius is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Octavius throws a head kick that misses.
White fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Octavius checks it well.
Octavius appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Octavius avoids the body shot from White.
White throws a looping overhand right but Octavius ducks down to avoid it.
Octavius jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Octavius closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. White quickly recovers to half guard.

Octavius is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Octavius tries to pass the half guard into mount. White knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

White tries to get to full guard but Octavius has control of the leg.
Octavius landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
White is not content to let Octavius control the position.
Octavius looks to land a strike but White avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Octavius's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

White lands a nice hook to Octavius's body. Octavius takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
White clobbers Octavius with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
White missing with a left hand there. Octavius was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Octavius manages to avoid it.
White throws a series of punches but Octavius avoids them all with ease.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Octavius ducks under a wild hook from White.
White jabs Octavius to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Octavius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
White lands with a shot to the body.

and White counters with a left to the body.
Octavius misses with a leg kick
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Octavius takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Octavius really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
White changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Octavius misses with a low kick as White jumps back.
Octavius pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

White lands a big right hand that sends Octavius crashing to the mat! White stays standing though and waves Octavius back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Octavius.
White throws an overhand right that lands on Octavius's shoulder, as Octavius tries to avoid the shot.
Octavius shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
White feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Octaviuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Heisenberg White seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and White counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
White blocks a low kick nicely.
Heisenberg White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

White connects with a body shot that sends Octavius's belly button to the back.
Octavius looks for a takedown but White sprawls well.

White sizes up Octavius with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

White lands a glancing blow to the side of Octavius's head.

Julius Octavius's cut is getting worse.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Octavius throws a low kick but it's checked well by White.
Octavius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and White has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
White throws a hook to the side of Octavius's head but Octavius sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Octavius moves out of range of the strikes.

White feints a jab promting Octavius to slip. White then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Octavius slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Nice straight punches there by White. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of White.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Octavius is defended easily by White.
Octavius walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. White checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
White throws a right and a left that both miss.

White scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Octavius throws a head kick but White moves out of range.
Octavius will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A low kick from Octavius is predictable there

and White counters with a crisp one two that drops Octavius! White thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Octavius to his feet! Octavius is in big trouble!

Heisenberg White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Octavius throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
Octavius takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
White drops Octavius with a big left hand! Octavius is injured, injured bad! White jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
