Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Maurice McDonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Arvo Penaali!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Penaali at a distance.
Penaali throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDonald.
McDonald looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Penaali looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Penaali fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Penaali 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Arvo Penaali has been cut.
McDonald fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Penaali looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Penaali throws a series of punches but McDonald moves out of range.
Penaali looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
No joy there for Penaali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McDonald slaps away a takedown attempt from Penaali, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Penaali throws a hook but McDonald blocks it.
Penaali misses with a double jab
and McDonald counters with a nice body shot.
Penaali's coach down at Bad Pluto! (17 Elite Coach) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Penaali's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McDonald bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Penaali's head backwards.

McDonald lands a big uppercut and Penaali crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Penaali looks OK. McDonald waves Penaali back to his feet!

Penaali is rocked!
Penaali smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penaali looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

McDonald cracks Penaali with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McDonald has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Penaali to stand back up!
Penaali is still on wobbly legs! Can McDonald finish him?
McDonald lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Penaali at a distance.
Maurice McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penaali gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! McDonald points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Penaali wakes up just in time to hear McDonald thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
