Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laz Icarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitka Boycheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Icarus comes to the cage accompanied by Flying dutchman. Boycheck has chosen Парус as his entrance music. Mitka Boycheck acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Laz Icarus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mitka Boycheck!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boycheck misses with a takedown
and Icarus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boycheck shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Icarus defends it nicely.
Boycheck throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Laz Icarus has been cut.
Icarus scores with a jab.

It looks like Mitka Boycheck has been cut.
Mitka Boycheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Icarus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Icarus wants it to stay on the feet.
Laz Icarus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mitka Boycheck.
Icarus connects with a single shot there.

Boycheck moves into range and clinches up with Icarus.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Boycheck.
Icarus using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Boycheck has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Boycheck is trying to trip Icarus. He has hold of a leg but Icarus is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Boycheck persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Icarus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Boycheck tries to free his leg and advance position but Icarus is retaining full guard.

Boycheck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Boycheck wants to pass the guard but Icarus is keeping the position.

Icarus manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Icarus lands a left hand.
We've been informed that Boycheck has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Icarus landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Boycheck has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Icarus avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Icarus misses with some punches.
Icarus tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Boycheck has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Icarus clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is taking a good look at Icarus as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Boycheck!
Well, with Boycheck on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Icarus is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Icarus takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Boycheck gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Boycheck is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Icarus has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Boycheck has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Icarus taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Boycheck doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Mitka Boycheck decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
