Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, William Adama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Pae!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pae lands a nice hook to Adama's body. Adama takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Adama scores with a nice head shot.
Pae slips a straight right by Adama.
Adama tries to bum rush Pae with a series of wild strikes but Pae uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pae will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Adama was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Adama checks the leg kick.
Pae bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Adama closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Adama tries to clinch up.
Adama takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That kick from Pae tenderised Adama's leg. Adama is trying to keep his angry face on.
Adama lands with a hook. Pae tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Adama wants to clinch up but Pae keeps it at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Adama blocks the leg kick.
A shot to the body from Adama misses
and Pae counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pae throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Adama tries to move into range but Pae moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Adama misses with the combination.

Pae lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Pae steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Adama.
Pae checks a low kick from Adama.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pae checks a leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pae! But no joy.
Adama thuds a left hand into Pae's body.

Adama uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pae.
Adama missing with a left hand there. Pae was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Adama drops his hands momentarily and Pae takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've been informed that Pae has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Adama swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pae.
Pae bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Adama backing away here, and Pae unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Pae avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pae swats away the attempt to clinch by Adama.
Adama fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pae manages to avoid it.
Pae swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Adama shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Pae throws a nice outside leg kick.
Adama is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pae.
A low kick from Adama is predictable there
and Pae counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Adama fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Pae scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adama doesn't seem bothered though.
Adama throws a leg kick that misses.
Pae is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Pae pushes Adama away with a front kick.
Adama shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Pae takes a swing at Adama's ribcage but misses.
Adama moves out of range as Pae throws a body kick.
Adama misses with a double jab
enabling Pae to counter with a crisp jab.
Adama throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
William Adama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pae with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adama to score with a decent uppercut.
Adama connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pae goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


Adama is rocked!


It looks like William Adama has been cut.
Pae uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adama.
Oh Adama is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Pae lands a beautiful left hook that drops Adama. Adama tries to recover but Pae is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Adama lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Pae!
An out of breath Joe Pae thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
