Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderhose with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've been hearing reports that Vanderhose has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vanderhose throws a sloppy head kick and Vladimir moves out of range easily.
Vladimir checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Vanderhose lands a leg kick that knocks Vladimir off balance momentarily.

Vanderhose is looking to slow Vladimir down with leg kicks.

Vladimir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Vanderhose is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vladimir has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Vladimir thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vanderhose's head.
Vladimir uses his free foot to push down on Vanderhose's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vanderhose.
Vanderhose takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Vanderhose is bucking up trying to escape but Vladimir cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Vladimir jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Vanderhose manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Vladimir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vanderhose swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vanderhose feints and then cracks Vladimir's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vladimir down.

Vanderhose tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vladimir defends well and Vanderhose ends up having to push Vladimir into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vladimir cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Vanderhose is rocked!
Vladimir has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vanderhose's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Vladimir fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vladimir drops a big elbow. That's hurt Vanderhose! More shots from Vladimir and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
