Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marky Mark Murican (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ole NKone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Murican might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Murica, Fuck Yeah!. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murican misses with a body kick.
Murican looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Murican scores with a decent looking hook.
NKone throws a body shot but no joy.
NKone connects with a jab.
Murican slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Murican throws a good cross that connects.
Murican takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Murican fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. NKone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that NKone has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Marky Mark Murican will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from NKone enables Murican to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. NKone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murican has an Americana. NKone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Murican is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Murican hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
