Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diamond Andy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chiyono Fuji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chiyono Fuji!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fuji sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Andy shoots in looking for a takedown but Fuji manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Andy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Fuji cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Diamond Andy has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diamond Andy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Andy shoots in for a double leg but Fuji sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice uppercut lands for Fuji. That snapped Andy's head back.

Andy is breathing heavily.
Fuji connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Diamond Andy's cut is getting worse.
No luck for Andy with that takedown attempt.
Fuji throws out a counter right but Andy avoids it with no problem.

Fuji lands a jab.
Andy dives in and grabs Fuji's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fuji pushes down on Andy's head and hops out.
Andy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fuji tries to avoid it but Andy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fuji to the ground. Fuji escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fuji scores with a sloppy right hand. Andy should have avoided that one.

Fuji has closed the distance and engaged Andy in a clinch.
Fuji lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Andy backwards.

Fuji breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Fuji counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Diamond Andy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jeez, Diamond Andy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Diamond Andy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
