Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Dominick Rivaldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Taggart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivaldi comes to the ring accompanied by Joker's Wild. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taggart throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rivaldi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brazilian Elite Team in the buildup to the fight.
Rivaldi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rivaldi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taggart.
Taggart fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Taggart ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rivaldi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Taggart makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rivaldi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Taggart's calf.
Taggart just misses with a punch to the body.
Rivaldi wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Rivaldi throws a nice inside leg kick.
Taggart has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rivaldi.
Rivaldi ducks under a wild hook from Taggart.
Rivaldi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Taggart manages to circle out of the way.
Taggart lands a body shot.
Rivaldi tries to clinch up.
Taggart looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A good leg kick by Taggart.
Dominick Rivaldi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taggart throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That kick from Taggart tenderised Rivaldi's leg. Rivaldi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Taggart dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rivaldi. That did some damage!
Taggart throws the left hand but Rivaldi avoids the punch easily.

Taggart throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Taggart lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rivaldi at a distance.
Taggart tries to work over Rivaldi's front leg with a kick but Rivaldi checks it.

Taggart swings for the body but Rivaldi moves out of range.

Rivaldi motions for Taggart to come forward. Rivaldi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taggart gets tackled into the ropes by Rivaldi. Rivaldi maintains the clinch.

Rivaldi misses with some punches.
Rivaldi lands a body shot in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Taggart fails to land.
Taggart throws a head punch that misses.
Rivaldi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Taggart backwards.

Taggart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taggart misses with a wild body shot.
Rivaldi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rivaldi moves into the clinch successfully.
A nice right hand lands inside from Taggart.
Taggart misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rivaldi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rivaldi swings wildly with an uppercut but Taggart uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rivaldi can't find room to land a body shot as Taggart controls the action.
Rivaldi misses with a body punch.
Taggart lands with a short punch from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taggart fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rivaldi.
Taggart lands a jab to Rivaldi's midsection.
Cole Taggart seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Taggart throws a solid leg kick but Rivaldi takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Taggart.
Taggart lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rivaldi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Taggart lands a jab to the nose.

Rivaldi is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rivaldi throws a lazy right hand but Taggart sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oh Rivaldi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rivaldi scores with a push kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rivaldi.
Taggart closes the distance and catches Rivaldi with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Rivaldi is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Rivaldi is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Rivaldi is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Taggart takes it!
