Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Johansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Kroblur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroblur tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johansson was well out of range. Poor timing from Kroblur.
Kroblur throws a leg kick but Johansson moved away.
Johansson throws the left hand but Kroblur avoids the punch easily.
Johansson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A big right from Kroblur misses.
Johansson misses with the combination.
Johansson misses with an uppercut. Kroblur saw that one coming.
Johansson throws a jab when Kroblur was well out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kroblur moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kroblur is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johansson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kroblur in side control, throwing shots but Johansson defends.

Kroblur is working Johansson over with some ground and pound from side control.
Johansson pushes Kroblur away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kroblur gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kroblur has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Johansson bucks up and tries to throw Kroblur off but instead Kroblur has got his back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johansson takes a big shot to the side of the head.

Johansson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kroblur gets his way!

Johansson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Johansson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Johansson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A nice combination there by Johansson.

and Kroblur counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johansson won't be happy with that.
Johansson is not content to let Kroblur control the position.
Matt Kroblur has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kroblur working the ground and pound but Johansson is defending the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kroblur looks up at the clock and then as Johansson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kroblur smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kroblur is looking to take a break and control but Johansson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Johansson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kroblur is controlling him well.

Johansson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kroblur asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kroblur misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Johansson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Johansson is squirming around, avoiding Kroblur's attempts to control the action.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
