PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ceiba Wrestling Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Mutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ceiba Wrestling Coach had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Mutch shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wrestling Coach is trying to defend but Mutch finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mutch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wrestling Coach tries to avoid it but Mutch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wrestling Coach to the ground. Wrestling Coach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Wrestling Coach was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mutch.
Mutch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wrestling Coach eats them both and turns towards Mutch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Wrestling Coach takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jordan Mutch seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Wrestling Coach throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mutch moves in looking to clinch but Wrestling Coach pushes him off.
Wrestling Coach was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mutch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jordan Mutch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wrestling Coach scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mutch feints a jab promting Wrestling Coach to slip. Mutch then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wrestling Coach slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Wrestling Coach is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mutch is keeping busy.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Mutch closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wrestling Coach circles away.

Mutch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wrestling Coach is working away from the top position though.
