The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Olson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Jordan Olson has been cut.

Taker throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Olson tumbling to the canvas!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Taker is looking to get back to his feet here but Olson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Taker's back.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Olson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Taker for as long as he can get away with.

Taker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
John Taker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Olson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Olson holds on and takes a little breather.
Taker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Olson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
