Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Fenix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zeke McCabe!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCabe throws the left hand but Fenix avoids the punch easily.
No joy there for Fenix, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCabe dodges the punch combination from Fenix.
McCabe looks to score with a jab to the body but Fenix is just out of range.
A swing and a miss from McCabe.
Fenix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McCabe on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McCabe misses with a takedown attempt - Fenix sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fenix swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McCabe tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fenix rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCabe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McCabe changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

McCabe throws a hook to the side of Fenix's head but Fenix sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fenix seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

McCabe walks into a straight right hand from Fenix.

It looks like Zeke McCabe has been cut.
Fenix swings for the body but McCabe moves out of range.
Fenix just misses with a punch to the body.

Marcus Fenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fenix throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and McCabe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

McCabe drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fenix looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fenix looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fenix!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fenix stands up.
Fenix throws a shot to the body.
Fenix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCabe was well out of range. Poor timing from Fenix.
McCabe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Fenix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCabe moves away.
Fenix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fenix slips a jab from McCabe.
Fenix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McCabe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fenix looks to score with a jab to the body but McCabe is just out of range.

Fenix falls off balance throwing a combination

and McCabe counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McCabe drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fenix manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McCabe has Fenix in his guard.

McCabe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fenix is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McCabe has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McCabe there as he acknowledges the shot.

We've been told by Fenix's head coaches at Circle of Bosses Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fenix throws a nice looking combination but McCabe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw McCabe working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

McCabe tries to move into range but Fenix moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

McCabe is rocked!

That has opened up Zeke McCabe's cut even more.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Fenix has cracked McCabe with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Fenix lands another huge swinging hook and McCabe tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save McCabe, before Fenix can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marcus Fenix!
