Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bradly Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakob Silfversberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bradly Danielson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jakob Silfversberg!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson misses with a hook. Silfversberg ducked under it nicely.
Silfversberg throws a jab but it's blocked by Danielson.
Danielson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Danielson duly obliges.

Silfversberg closes the distance and clinches.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silfversberg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Danielson won't allow Silfversberg to pass to mount.

Silfversberg uses his free foot to push down on Danielson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Danielson.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danielson tries to buck Silfversberg off but he can't manage it.

BOOM! Silfversberg connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Silfversberg is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Danielson is surviving well by controlling Silfversberg's body position as best he can.

Danielson tries to bum rush Silfversberg with a series of wild strikes but Silfversberg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Danielson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Silfversberg has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Danielson is looking to defend but Silfversberg has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Danielson! Silfversberg pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Danielson taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jakob Silfversberg!
Jakob Silfversberg was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
