Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renato Babawto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Rouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Rouge will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Babawto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rouge!

Babawto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Rouge takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

We've been hearing good reports from Babawto's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Rouge wants to hold on but Babawto pushes him away.
Babawto controlling the position easily from mount.
Rouge tries to reverse the position but Babawto maintains control.
Babawto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rouge can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Babawto is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Babawto extends the arm and Rouge is forced to tap!
