The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva clinches with his opponent.

Rundowski blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Silva manages to break the clinch.
Rundowski shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A shot to the liver by Silva. Beautiful body shot.
Silva misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rundowski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Silva throws a jab when Rundowski was well out of range.
Rundowski drops down looking for a counter takedown but Silva sprawls and moves away.

Rundowski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Rundowski finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva is trying to keep Rundowski in close.
Rundowski won't allow Silva to get back to his feet.

Rundowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rundowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva wants to stand up but Rundowski is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva tries to kick Rundowski off but Rundowski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rundowski is trying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rundowski stops Silva from getting back to his feet.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rundowski seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.
Silva tries to kick Rundowski off but Rundowski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Rundowski maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Silva could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rundowski has cracked it and Silva is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rundowski!
