Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slight Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumble Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Slight Carter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Slight Carter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson slips a straight right by Carter.
Johnson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carter tries to clinch up.
Carter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Carter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Johnson misses with a low kick.
Carter takes a swing at Johnson's ribcage but misses.
Johnson throws a leg kick but Carter moved away.
Carter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head.
Carter falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carter gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnson throws out a powerful jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
We've been told by Carter's head coaches at VENDETTA Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Carter misses with a lunging right hand
and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Carter gets a clinch.
Johnson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson staying out of range there.
Johnson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Carter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Johnson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Slight Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Carter misses with a looping left.

Oooooh!!! Carter has knocked Johnson down with a huge combo! Carter steps away and waves a wobbly Johnson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Rumble Johnson has been cut.
Johnson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A swing and a miss from Carter.
Carter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Carter looks to land a left hand but Johnson moved out of range nicely.
Carter lands the left hand.
A punch combination from Carter misses.
Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carter throws out the jab.
Carter is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.

Carter drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carter is looking for the KO!

Johnson is rocked!
Johnson looks winded!
OH! Johnson has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Carter smells blood and charges in for the finish! Carter unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Johnson sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Slight Carter!
After winning the bout, Slight Carter thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
