The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almighty looks for a takedown but Face sprawls well.

Face rushes Almighty and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Almighty tries to pull guard but Face holds him up against the cage and eventually Almighty drops back down to his feet.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Almighty tries to break the clinch but Face is controlling the position.
Face gets underhooks to prevent Almighty's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rufus Almighty. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Almighty misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Face prevents a takedown attempt there.
Face lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Almighty pushes Face back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Almighty looking to slow down the pace here.
Face swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Almighty's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Almighty is working for takedown but Face is calmly controlling the position for now.

Almighty shoots in for a takedown but Face shows good takedown defense.

and Face counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Almighty thinking.

Face has Almighty up against the cage in a clinch.
Face lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Almighty backwards.
Face lands an uppercut.
Face creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Almighty's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Almighty drops to his knees and Face pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
