The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Souch slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
McGordon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souch on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGordon wants to stand but Souch is controlling the position.
McGordon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Souch controls the pace.
Souch postures up in McGordon's guard and throws a big left but McGordon blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGordon is trying to hold Souch in close to prevent damage but Souch has managed to pass into half guard.
McGordon trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Souch controlling the position easily from mount.

Souch is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Souch extends the arm and McGordon is forced to tap!
