Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marian Balkon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Svork Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svork Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marian Balkon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Svork Silva!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks for a takedown but Balkon sprawls well.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Balkon is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Balkon circles away and we're back to standing.
Balkon seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Balkon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
Balkon works the jab nicely.

It looks like Svork Silva has been cut.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Balkon connects with a looping right hand.
Balkon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (4.5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.

Silva rushes Balkon and presses him up against the cage.
Balkon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Silva with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Balkon putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Silva in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Balkon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Balkon throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
Balkon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Balkon throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Marian Balkon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Svork Silva.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Balkon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Balkon.
Balkon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Balkon can pounce on him.
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Balkon lands with an overhand left.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Balkon gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marian Balkon!
After winning the bout, Marian Balkon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Svork Silva was interviewed post fight and said 'I m going to be taking time off to develop i m still headed for big things!!'.
